The Falls at West Mall has extended its Friday and Saturday hours, so that customers will have more time to do their shopping and dine in comfort until 9 pm.
A new area of the food court has been outfitted with comfortable seating for customers to unwind from 6.30 – 9 pm every Friday and Saturday.
This was revealed at the formal launch of Shop & Dine ‘til 9 at The Falls last Friday night.
Jennice Price, marketing manager at West Falls, told Newsday: “We have decided that we are going to mix things up a bit and create a more relaxing and dining atmosphere, so we changed our furniture here at the food court and we are now going on Fridays and Saturdays until 9 pm, because we want to encourage people to know that the mall is not just a place to come to run an errand and grab something and go, but that you can take your time.”
Also on Fridays and Saturdays between 6.30 and 9 pm customers can get special discounts in various stores until November 30.
Price said: “We have lots of great offerings, so there is no reason to rush. Patrons can do their shopping, then have some dinner sitting down in a nice comfortable atmosphere.”
At Friday’s launch, entertainment was provided by the Alternative Quartet, but Price says there is much more entertainment lined up every Friday and/or Saturday.
Los Alumnos de San Juan, Sharlene Flores, QED and Wendy Sheppard are scheduled to perform, and on Sunday afternoons customers can look out for Tricia Lee Kelshall for the blessing of the creche and more.
Price said: “There are not many things to do in the west, so we are providing an avenue for entertainment that is family-oriented and children-friendly.”
